Clergymen from Thorn assumed canons in all of Prussian chapter cathedral. The subject of this article is group of twelve clergymen from Thorn, which could found as a results of working on chapter in Chelmza. This clergymen belonged to the most important members of whole corporation appeared in chapter panel in years 1275-1457. Among recognized clergymen distinguish group from urban participate and also group with university education. About position clergymen from Thorn rendered frequent appointed theirs on prelature. High chapter dignitaries included in analysed period eight of them. Three of them to achieve provostry, also three of them decanate and custody. In twos was cantors and scholastics. Besides some of them to take up even several prelatures. As canons appointed on other important sacred person like official. Some of them one's high dignity in monastic state obtained before mounted to chapter cathedral. Some of them come from entourage Teutonic Order master's, other acted as writers and public notary and passed for intellectual elite.
