The paper presents an assessment of conditions, quality of living for 190 students – residents of Podkarpackie province. The analysis was performed according to place of residence, gender, age and income per family member. A five-point Likert scale was used for evaluation. Podkarpackie province is one of the poorest regions in the EU structures. Students rated their living conditions at 3.41 points, 3.35 points as far as quality is concerned and the lowest was score of standard of living – 3.21 points.

The paper deals with the problem of distinction between knowledge and true belief in Plato’s dialogue Theaetetus. It is focused on the part Theaet. 201a-c, where according to some commentators, Plato specified the necessary and sufficient conditions for achieving knowledge. The aim of the paper is to find out, whether talking about necessary or sufficient conditions is relevant in the wider context of the other dialogues and also in Theaetetus itself.

The analysis of the notion “pedagogical conditions” is represented in the article. On the basis of the comparative multi aspect analysis of the notion “conditions”, the notion “pedagogical conditions” is defined and the main characteristic features are revealed. Pedagogical conditions are analyzed in the paper as a component of a pedagogical system; they reflect the environmental opportunities effecting personality- and process-based aspects of the system, enhancing its successful functioning. Different groups of conditions guaranteeing the effective functioning of pedagogical system are considered. The peculiar properties of three groups of pedagogical conditions (organizational-pedagogical, psychological-pedagogical, didactic) are disclosed.
