The relation of organizational culture orientation within the competing values framework and job satisfaction within public organizations was verified. The orientation of organizational culture as a configuration of four types of this culture and job satisfaction were surveyed through the OCAI questionnaire (Cameron, Quinn, 1999). Closeness of their relation was verified by correlation analysis. The research was made in public administrative organizations. According to the results of correlation analysis, job satisfaction positively correlates with orientation to relations and human resources and negatively with orientation to results and competitiveness as types of organizational culture.

In this paper we present the results of the parameters of body composition in children on early school age. The sample consisted of 60 probands (40 boys and 20 girls) with a mean age by the decimal 6.73 ± 0.3 years. To determine body composition parameters were used for direct analysis of segmental multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance using the InBody 120 (Biospace Co., Ltd .; Seoul, Korea). All the results of measurements, we mutually compared and evaluated using statistical methods. The parameters of body composition was recorded intersex differences, but not statistically significant. Statistical differences were observed in the total body water (TBW) and the level of the basal metabolic rate (BMR). The parameters showing the state of nutrition, protein mass (PM) and the mineral mass (MM), we also confirmed the statistically significant differences intersexual. Somatic indicators of significant statistical dependence is found between body height and weight, as well as between body weight and body mass index, which will be shown ontogeny is assessed as a natural developmental indicator. The same statistically significant dependence was recorded also in the analysis parameters obesity parameters of active body mass and nutritional parameters.

We evaluate the process of financial and trade integration in 26 European Union (EU) countries over the period 1993 – 2012. We distinguish between “new” and “old” EU countries to compare the processes of financial and trade integration in the developed countries and formerly central-planned economies. We use classical and moving correlation, dynamic correlation and wavelet co-spectrum. The classical and moving correlation shows the strong relation until 2008. The dynamic correlation confirms strong relation for long and business cycle frequencies. Specification via wavelet co-spectrum reveals that long frequencies are correlated in the period 200 – 2009, business cycle frequencies in the period 1993 – 1994 and 2003 – 2004 and middle frequencies generally in the period 2008 – 201. The process of financial integration was stronger in the old EU member countries while the process of trade integration in the new member countries.

The article sheds some light on the process of measuring business cycle similarity and points out the fact that contemporary studies usually simplify this problem by measuring a simple correlation of cyclical development in GDP. The main goal is to assess the level of business cycle similarity in selected Eurozone member and candidate countries using the Concordance index. The article also includes a comparison of the Concordance index technique with traditional correlation methods. The results show that the Czech Republic belongs to the states with relatively high level of concordance comparing to the other Eurozone member and candidate countries. The resulting concordance measures give also an evidence of relatively low level of the business cycle similarity of Slovak economy and the Eurozone.
