Wprowadzanie zmiany jest ważnym warunkiem umiejętnego dostosowywania się każdej jednostki gospodarczej do nowych warunków funkcjonowania. Rosnące znaczenie pozaprodukcyjnych funkcji lasów skutkuje zapotrzebowaniem na informacje finansowe i niefinansowe pochodzące z systemu rachunkowości Lasów Państwowych. Zatem zmiany mogą dotyczyć także systemu rachunkowości. Celem artykułu jest określenie istoty oraz charakterystyka pożądanych zmian w systemie rachunkowości Lasów Państwowych.

Introduction of change is an important condition for skilful adaptation of each business unit to the new operating conditions. The growing importance of non- -production functions of forests results in a requirement for financial and non-financial information coming from the accounting system of the State Forests. Thus, changes can also affect the accounting system. The aim of this article is to determine the nature and characteristics of the desired changes in the accounting system of the State Forests.
