Przestrzenne zróżnicowane natężenie ubóstwa w Polsce znajduje się w centrum zainteresowania wielu badaczy. Jednocześnie pomiar tego zjawiska nie jest jednoznacznie zdefiniowany, jak też czynniki go kształtujące. Celem artykułu jest wyodrębnienie tych regionów Polski, które charakteryzują się podobnym poziomem ubóstwa w 2014 r. oraz ocena, na ile różnice te można tłumaczyć odmiennie kształtującym się na nich zasobem kapitału kreatywnego. Wyniki przeprowadzonych rozważań nie potwierdziły tezy, że w województwach, gdzie odnotowujemy relatywnie duży zasób kapitału kreatywnego, wystąpił też niski poziom ubóstwa. Jednocześnie analiza wskazała, że wysoka jakość zasobów ludzkich może przyczynić się do ograniczenia ubóstwa w regionie.

Intensity of poverty in Poland by regions is located in the centre of many researchers. At the same time, the measurement of the phenomenon is not clearly defined, as well as the factors measures of it. The purpose of the article is to extract these Polish regions, which are characterized by a similar level of poverty in 2014. and an assessment of how these differences can be explained differently are shaped by the creative capital resource. The results of carried out deliberations have not confirmed the thesis that in the regions, where we are observed relatively large resource of creative capital, there was also a low level of poverty. At the same time, the analysis indicated that the high quality of human resources can help to reduce poverty in the region.

Artykuł przedstawia propozycje pomiaru kapitału kreatywnego zaprezentowane przez różne ośrodki badawcze, w tym również dla Polski. Dokonano także oceny przestrzennej korelacji różnych komponentów tego kapitału i stwierdzono, że nie zawsze uzyskane wyniki prowadzą do podobnych wniosków.

The article is presenting various proposals of the measurement of creative capital, including for Poland. They also made an appraisal of spatial correlation of different components of this capital and they stated that not always achieved results caused similar conclusions.
