The paper is a specific enrichment of Krajewski's scientific philosophy. According to Krajewski, scientific philosophy embraces scientific fundamentals of philosophy, philosophy of science, scientific metaphysics (ie. ontology), as well as opinions concerning science goals and values relevant for science. However, scientific philosophy does not embrace esthetical issues. The papers postulates an addition of an aesthetic level to scientific philosophy. As a justification and illustration the recommendations of Goethe's and Ostwald's 'Farbenlehren' are analysed.

The present essay is an outline, drawn from a Polish perspective, of some issues of postmodernist literature which, occurring ahead of the internet, attempted at working out a philosophy of the new media and a certain literary aesthetics. These new concepts were not, however, applied in Polish literature, as might have been triggered by the real encounter with the powerful new medium. Discussed are novels based on blogs by Jacek Palka and Aleksander Wierny, along with an experiment by the novelist Krystyna Kofta and Janusz L. Wisniewski's novel 'Samotnosc w Sieci' (Lonely in the Web). Prose works have appeared which very often incarnate communication codes other than literary and which, to an extent, break trough the established literary patterns whilst making references to stereotypes of sex and fiction models present in feature films.

The topic of this paper is the specific transcultural point of esthetics. The pathical dimension of esthetics in culture is here taken as the sub-topic. The author scrutinizes it in detail, especially in terms of anthropological meanings. Pathos forms the esthetical principle and because of it, it has its own fundamental ethical dimension. The approach of this paper is strictly methodologically anthropological; the pathical dimension of esthetics is critically conceived as a metaphysical part of culture sui generis and due to it, it creates the fundament for transcultural sociality.
