Celem artykułu jest ocena efektywności finansowej europejskich giełd pa-pierów wartościowych traktowanych jako przedsiębiorstwa. Efektywność fi-nansowa jest mierzona za pomocą mierników taksonomicznych, do budowy których, jako zmienne diagnostyczne, wykorzystano podstawowe wskaźniki finansowe giełd-przedsiębiorstw: przychody, koszty i EBITDA. Badania zo-stały przeprowadzone na podstawie danych FESE z lat 2002-2011.

The aim of the paper is evaluation of financial efficiency of the European stock exchanges that are treated as enterprises. The financial efficiency is measured applying taxonomic measures using revenue, costs and EBITDA as diagnostic variables. The research is provided on the basis of data provided by FESE for years 2002-2011.
