This article is focused on the issue of knowledge and innovations in information-communication technology (ICT) sector. The main research problem was research of the knowledge and innovation creation in the ICT sector in the selected Slovak region (Bratislava region). ICT sector in Slovakia is characterized by remarkable knowledge and innovation creation dynamics. New knowledge and innovations are playing important role in the competitiveness of the ICT companies in the global world. We are looking on the knowledge and innovation creation in the ICT sector on the example of the case study of Bratislava region, which is the most important location of the ICT industry in Slovakia. Separately we are investigating the development of the ICT sector in the Bratislava region, types of knowledge and expertise in the ICT sector, channels for knowledge and innovation creation, territorial aspects of knowledge and innovation creation.

The author of this article seeks to define various circumstances that make a generation. The author points out the characteristics of new generations focusing on the so-called Z generation. As a literature teacher, she mentions personal examples to make the article alive. Her aim is to prove that it is important to take the new habits and specifics of teenagers into account in order to teach more efficiently.
