The author of this article presents an extract from a comparative study carried out between 2022 and 2024 in two primary schools in Białystok and Mońki. The main aim of the study was to obtain information on the level of physical fitness of girls and boys in grades I-III from primary schools in Podlasie. The results highlight, among other things, the effects of isolation after the COVID-19 pandemic and prompt us to address the problem of declining physical fitness among students.

Autorka artykułu przedstawia fragment badań porównawczych przeprowadzonych w latach 2022-2024 w dwóch szkołach podstawowych w Białymstoku i Mońkach. Głównym celem badań było otrzymanie odpowiedzi na temat poziomu sprawności fizycznej dziewcząt i chłopców klas I-III ze szkół podstawowych z Podlasia. Wyniki uwidoczniają między innymi skutki izolacji po okresie pandemii choroby COVID-19 i skłaniają do pochylenia się nad problemem obniżającej się sprawności uczniów.
