In the last academic year (2017/2018), the Institute of Musicology of The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin celebrated an important Jubilee. After the Cecilia celebrations connected with the 60th anniversary of the existence of the unit (November 2016), it was the turn to commemorate the half-century of the students scientific movement. This sketch is a contribution to the analysis on the activity of students of Lublin musicology and their participation in the development of scientific research in various fields of religious music.

W minionym roku akademickim (2017/2018) Instytut Muzykologii KUL świętował ważny Jubileusz. Po uroczystościach cecyliańskich, związanych z 60-leciem istnienia jednostki (listopad 2016 r.), przyszła kolej na upamiętnienie półwiecza studenckiego ruchu naukowego. Niniejsza publikacja stanowi przyczynek do analizy aktywności studentów lubelskiej muzykologii i ich wkładu w rozwój badań naukowych na różnych polach muzyki religijnej.
