In Russian literature of the last few decades women writers have been very active and productive. The prominent feature of such women writers is, as we think, their body-consciousness, i.e. we find in their works plenty of depictions of the body, especially women’s body. Lyudmila Ulitskaya’s novel Kukotsky Case (2000) may be regarded as the most symptomatic case, where the author tells the lives of heroines of three different generations — the wife, daughter and granddaughter of the hero, Pavel Kukotsky. Kukotsky is an academician-obstetrician, who participates in the political process for the improvement of women’s health and legalization of abortion. This motivates the abundance of descriptions of women’s body and physical processes, such as pregnancy and childbearing. The aim of this article is to analyze such physical aspects of Ulitskaya’s prose from the viewpoint of womanhood and motherhood.

Author personalizes Leonard Stokel, he was Rector of humanistic school, which under his leadership has achieved a high level of just. Around the year 1540 he wrote the laws, which are among the oldest school laws . Of particular importance are his comments on the General principles of the Christian teaching of Philip Melanchton (published in Basel in 1560) and public Confessia of Pentapolite from 1548).During the century it was visited by students from northern parts of Hungary. Bardejov would then become the center of education, theater, arts and culture. Stockel had an excellent reputation, which developed into a secular education. The school fell under the Urban Council, which approved the regulations and control and various documents.

Problem and Method. On the one hand, this is a factsheet and a case study. On the other hand, it is an exchange of opinions and a review of them – a review article. It concerns the recent history of martial arts We draw on the practical experience, knowledge and statements of one of the highest-ranking masters with great experience in several types of martial arts. We quote and analyze his and others’ opinions. The analysis also considers the content of selected films and books, and reviews of them. Results. Two workshops, 10 videos and a book series were described and analysed, as well as lectures and discussions. Controversial issues were shown and facts illustrating the functioning of several organizations based on cyclical meetings of their leaders, were quoted. Selected events were photographically documented. Conclusions. An interesting symposium, which was an expert small group meeting, For the participants, it was an opportunity to gain new knowledge, draw on the teaching of the highest-ranking masters, analyze activities on the mat, recordings and literature, as well as the content of documents. It is knowledge about both the history and practical application of martial arts – technical and tactical solutions in self-defense.

Problem i metoda. Jest to z jednej strony faktografia i studium przypadku. Z drugiej zaś wymiana opinii i ich swego rodzaju recenzja – artykuł recenzyjny. Rzecz dotyczy historii najnowszej sztuk walki. Sięgamy do doświadczenia praktycznego, wiedzy i wypowiedzi mistrza najwyższej rangi o wielkim doświadczeniu w kilku odmianach sztuk walki. Jego i inne opinie przytaczamy i analizujemy. Analizy dotyczą także treści wybranych filmów i książek, i ich recenzji. Wyniki. Opisano i przeanalizowano dwa zajęcia warsztatowe, 10 nagrań wideo i serię książek, a także wykłady i dyskusje. Ukazano kwestie kontrowersyjne. Przytoczono fakty ilustrujące funkcjonowanie kilku organizacji na przykładzie cyklicznych spotkań ich liderów. Wybrane zdarzenia udokumentowano fotograficznie. Wnioski. W nielicznym gronie miało miejsce interesujące sympozjum, będące spotkaniem eksperckim. Dla uczestników była to okazja do zdobycia nowej wiedzy, czerpiąc z nauczania mistrzów najwyższej rangi, analizując działania na macie nagrania i literaturę, a także treść dokumentów. Jest to wiedza zarówno dotycząca historii, jak też praktycznego zastosowania sztuk walki – rozwiązań techniczno-taktycznych w samoobronie.

My paper presents a detailed analysis and assessment of Richard Dawkins’ epistemological theses from The God Delusion concerning the nature of religious belief, the existence of God and treating belief in God as a scientific hypothesis. In the first part of the article, I am interpreting Dawkins’ statement that atheism deserves respect as an epistemic achievement. I suggest that rationality of that assessment depends on Dawkins’ success in arguing that science shows that God does not exist. My second aim is to show that the real object of Dawkins’ attack is not some abstract theistic hypothesis, as he suggests, but the Western ethical monotheism, mainly the Christian faith in God. If I am right, then his rejection of thus interpreted theism is not enough to justify his more general thesis that God hypothesis is false or improbable. The first part of the paper prepares the ground for the second, with criticism of Dawkins’ reasoning to the conclusion that almost certainly there is no God.

Poruszane zostają kwestie szans i zagrożeń, a tak-że czynniki konkurencyjności w modelu gospodarki opartej na wiedzy. W tym kontekście, w części dotyczącej modelu G.O.L.E.M. omówiony zostaje jego coachingowy charakter, przedstawiona zostaje ogólna koncepcja i założenia tego narzędzia, następnie jego synergiczny i elastyczny charakter oraz wewnętrzna struktura jego elementów. Podkreślona zostaje kompatybilność niniejszego modelu z innymi modelami i narzędziami coachingowymi oraz w szczególności odniesienie na zasadzie paralelizmu do modelu zarządzania przez coaching J.Whitmor’a.
