Artykuł przedstawia historię misji jezuitów w Myszyńcu. Misja powstała w 1650 r. w wyniku akcji prowadzonych przez jezuitów na terenie Puszczy. Działała w latach 1650–1773 pod kierownictwem kolegium jezuickiego w Łomży. Na terenie Puszczy Zielonej jezuici rozpoczęli edukację, kulturę muzyczną, architekturę z cegły, posttrydencką religijność. Misja w Myszyńcu hamowała rozprzestrzenianie się protestantyzmu z Księstwa Prus na Mazowsze.

The article presents the story of the Jesuits mission in Myszyniec. It arised in 1650 as a result of the missions led on the territory of the forest by Jesuits. It was operated in 1650-1773 by the Jesuite Collage in Łomża. Jesuits started education, music culture, brick architecture, post-Tridentine religiousness on the territory of Green Forest. Mission in Myszyniec contributed to diffusion of protestantism to Masovia from The Duchy of Prussia.
