The dynamic development of (ICT) information-communication technologies used in the widely understood business and in the management revealed the lack of high qualified workers on the labour market who possess the knowledge and skills of ICT application in these areas. The proposal of the new Business Informatics (BI) field of study can fill this gap. The aim of the article is the presentation of project of learning outcomes at the BI field of study. In the binding model of National Qualification Framework defining learning outcomes underlies elaboration of teaching curriculum at the BI field of study. The article discussed NQF, the rules of defining the learning outcomes, the foundamentals of education program design and indicated the possibility of the utilization of ICT (PSSOR system) in the verification of plan and the program of studies by means of directional effects.

As a result of the transformations of the higher education system, there began a search for objective measures, making it possible to compare different higher education institutions (in terms of their academic staff, research outcomes documented in publications, professional careers of university graduates and the like). It prompted the academic circles to reflect on the actions undertaken by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, in particular those pertaining to the National Qualification Framework. Academic disciplines differ from one another in terms of their research methods, which is why all attempts at a parametrization, implementation of quantitative indices to evaluate representatives of the humanities, mathematical algorithms or taxonomy as means enabling a “fair” assessment of all academic teachers regardless of the discipline they represent, appear to be worthless.

This article presents a theoretical discussion, supported by empirical research, about the attitudes of university teachers of foreign language in Poland towards the implementation of the National Qualification Framework for Higher Education. The opinions on the topic were collected by a questionnaire, conducted in March 2012, among representatives of 17 Polish universities. The research aimed to investigate whether institutional and administrative change connected with the reform of higher education in Poland is in any way contributing to reframing of competencies, or to the development of new competencies in foreign language teachers and researchers. The inter-nationalization of tertiary education and demands for orientation to the job market, widely discussed in literature and public debate recently, are irreversibly connected with globalization and the Bologna process. It is important to raise the question how this affects the generic and specific competencies of teacher trainers and educators. The research results revealed that academics are highly sceptical about the assumptions and effects of the implementation of the NQF. It is the author’s intention to diagnose the reasons for this in the context of seeing the NQF as creating new space for modi-fied and redefined skills, which are indispensable in the new educational reality.

Celem niniejszego opracowania jest prezentacja fragmentów wyników badań dotyczących doświadczeń nauczycieli akademickich w twórczej pracy dydaktycznej w kontekście wprowadzonych w 2011 r. Krajowych Ram Kwalifikacji. Dla autorki badań – prowadzonych zgodnie z podejściem teoretyczno- metodologicznym The evolving systems approach to creative work Howarda E. Grubera szczególnie istotne były indywidualne znaczenia jakie badani nauczyciele nadają zapisom zawartym w dokumencie i jak przekładają się one na ich pracę dydaktyczną związaną z wymyślaniem/wdrażaniem i popularyzowaniem nowych rozwiązań dydaktycznych obejmujących: koncepcje, metody, techniki kształcenia, autorskie modele warsztatów, systemy oceniania studentów itp.

The aim of this article is to present excerpts from results of research concerning academic teachers’ experiences in the field of creative didactic work in the context of National Qualification Framework (introduced in 2011). Research was conducted in line with Howard Gruber’s theoretical-methodological approach The evolving systems approach to creative work. For the author of the research the most important were individual meanings given by academic teachers to sentences in the document. It was also significant to observe how teachers implement these meanings in their didactic work regarding: invention, implementation and promotion of new didactic solutions including: concepts, methods, techniques, original models of workshops, students’ grading systems etc.

The study raises the problem of the functioning of the academic didactics against the backdrop of new reality, socio-economic changes, and mental changes observed in young people. Based on the previous findings concerning the crisis in the academic didactics, the author proposes a reorientation within the scope of the target group of the prospective students. In her opinion, there is a need for drawing attention to the group of mature people (40+) as candidates for studies in humanities.

Kluczową rolę w transformacji społecznej odgrywają środki informatyczne. To one dzisiaj wyznaczają tempo i kierunki rozwoju cywilizacyjnego ludzkości.
