The article concerns main assumptions of psychological help for an unemployed person. It was focused on main areas of difficulty, experienced by the unemployed person, as well as the ways of reducing those problems. The introduced foundations have become a basis to create the programme of workshops, strengthening the unemployed person's psychological condition. Each difficulty was discovered, analyzed and reduced during the workshop work with a coach psychologist. The first area of difficulty handled the knowledge of the self, own professional preferences and personality, talents and weaknesses. The second issue was to deal with some own emotional experiences and to manage beliefs of self-efficacy. Another part of the training was to analyse the area of life with hope and optimism and to develop the sense of responsibility. Last but not least was to shape the skill of building the social support.

The article is devoted to analyzing psychological problems which people can experience as a result of globalization processes. After discussing various views on globalization a new model of the phenomenon is presented which helps to understand people's difficulties to adapt. Globalization is seen as a process of universalization of the existing social order and at the same time as a process of accumulating power which determines the direction of social changes. On the basis of these two dimensions of globalization four hypotheses concerning future development of social processes have been formed and, respectively, four groups of psychological problems in adaptation to social changes are predicted. Finally, the rules for offering psychological help toward people with adaptive difficulties are outlined.

The paper describes positives and negatives requests for candidates of the holy orders given by the actual norms of the Catholic Church. First it clarifies the reasons for such requests and their foundation in the Code of canon Law from 1983 and in extra- codified norms and basic requests for the validity and lawfulness of orders as well. Subsequently, the author deals with concrete requests and their verification in the three stages of the formation for priesthood: the initial one connected with acceptance to the major seminary, further during the formation in seminary and finally immediately before ordination.
