The article is about the execution carried out by the German occupiers on 5th June 1943 near the railway station in Pasieki, as a result of which 53 Poles were killed. It presents a reconstruction of the events from the raid on the Ostroleka- Warsaw train to the removal of the bodies of the victims by the perpetrators. It shows them against the background of the realities of the late spring and early summer of 1943 in the occupied Ostrów County.

Artykuł opowiada o egzekucji dokonanej przez okupantów niemieckich 5 VI 1943 r. nieopodal stacji kolejowej w Pasiekach, w wyniku której poniosło śmierć 53 Polaków. Przedstawia rekonstrukcję wydarzeń od momentu obławy na pociąg relacji Ostrołęka-Warszawa aż do pozbycia się ciał ofiar przez sprawców. Ukazuje je na tle realiów przełomu wiosny i lata 1943 roku w okupowanym powiecie ostrowskim.
