This article describes the training of dance instructors and teachers as a confrontation of Polish-Ukrainian experiences, contexts and challenges. The collected material is presented in two parts. The first one is devoted to selected issues of choreographic education in Poland, the other one in Ukraine. The main purpose of the work aims at identifying the needs of universal education in the field of dance education.

W artykule opisano kształcenie, instruktorów i nauczycieli tańca, widziane jako konfrontacja polsko-ukraińskich doświadczeń, kontekstów i wyzwań. Zgromadzony materiał został zaprezentowany w dwóch częściach. Pierwszą poświecono wybranym zagadnieniom oświaty choreograficznej w Polsce, drugą zaś na Ukrainie. Główny cel pracy ukierunkowany został na potrzeby edukacji powszechnej w dziedzinie wychowania tanecznego.
