Artykuł podejmuje problematykę współpracy innowacyjnej przedsiębiorstw przemysłowych województwa śląskiego, które poniosły nakłady na działalność B+R, czyli są aktywne w obszarze badawczo-rozwojowym. Dotyczy podejmowania współpracy o charakterze innowacyjnym. Badanie zostało przeprowadzone w latach 2010-2012 na grupie 290 przedsiębiorstw przemysłowych w województwie śląskim, deklarujących poniesienie nakładów na działalność B+R. Modelowanie statystyczne przeprowadzono z użyciem rachunku prawdopodobieństwa. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały wiele istotnych zależności, dlatego znajomość wpływu współpracy o charakterze innowacyjnym na aktywność innowacyjną jest ważnym elementem poznawczym specyfiki regionu. Wskazane w niniejszym artykule podstawowe informacje z zakresu współpracy innowacyjnej w ramach regionalnego systemu przemysłowego powinny być analizowane oraz uwzględniane przy tworzeniu strategii innowacyjnych.

The article takes on the issue of innovative cooperation between industrial enterprises and other units. It describes the impact of cooperation on innovative activity. The study is based on the research which was conducted within 290 industrial enterprises, in Silesia region in 2010-2012, which bare the expenditures on R&D activity. The methodological part of the research is based on the theory of probability − probit modelling was used in this particular case. This research study has proved that described innovative cooperation between industrial enterprises and other units is characterises by many significant correlations which are important for innovative activity in this specific regional industrial system. That is why the results of this study should be considered in innovative strategies in Silesia region.
