Obecnie, termin "wypalenie się" ma wielorakie znaczenie. Często słyszymy osoby mówiące: "Jestem wypalony. Nie jestem już w stanie poradzić sobie z całą sytuacją", albo oznajmujące "Za bardzo się wypaliłem, aby być w stanie wykonać to zadanie." W celni jasnego zrozumienia zjawiska wypalenia się jednostki konieczne staje się przedstawienie kompletnej i precyzyjnej definicji. Takie próby podejmowane były przez wielu badaczy. Dla właściwej perspektywy poniżej podaję przykłady definicji wypalenia oraz ich opisy.(fragment tekstu)

The following article paper presents the description of Burnout Syndrome as well as the subject literature. According to presented definition of burnout syndrome this is common in modern organizations. Widespread thinking about professional burnout is focused on the employee and his weaknesses eliminating psychological difficulties within the relationship man - work. Meanwhile, the burnout syndrome is strongly associated with a stressful workplace and the employee experiencing chronic emotional overload. Employees functioning under permanent stress for a long time begin to experience lack of harmony between their personality and the organization and therefore lose motivation to continue working with the previous commitment. The effects in the form of symptoms of burnout are not just an individual problem of the employee but they bring tangible cost to the organization, and consequently the phenomenon of burnout is becoming a serious social problem. The more serious the problem of burnout in the context of organic stress in organization the more extensive investigations and practical indications for contemporary environments it requires. A person employed on a temporary basis gains new possibilities, but also encounters psychological difficulties. They can be particularly burdensome if this form of employment was not the preferred one. The character of temporary employment consists in emotional and cognitive effort resulting from the necessity of cyclic adjustment to new conditions, entering into important interpersonal relationships and then breaking them off in order to begin the entire cycle again. This article aims at analyzing psychological threats associated with temporary employment. A questionnaire survey conducted among employees employed by a temporary job agency was supposed to show the most important stress sources in this kind of employment. The likelihood of burnout syndrome was also analyzed.

Celem artykułu jest ocena wpływu stresu na jakość życia Polaków w odniesieniu do stopnia zaspokojenia potrzeb w sferach wyodrębnionych przez autorów Diagnozy Społecznej (Raport..., z lat 2009 i 2011). Do analizy wykorzystano dane wtórne, także pochodzące z tego badania. Zastosowano wielomianowy model probitowy dla zmiennej uporządkowanej wraz z prezentacją estymacji, dopasowania modelu, zdolności predykcyjnych oraz efektów krańcowych. (fragment tekstu)

This article presents an analysis of the impact of stress on the quality of life of the population in Poland, based on the results of periodic surveys "Social Diagnosis". By examining the relationship between quality of life and stress factors the Author used multinomial probit model and ratio analysis. The force and direction of the impact of stress on quality of life was measured. The article presents the results of estimation, model fitting, and the interpretation of the marginal effects. The model showed the correlation between quality of life and stress situations. The quality of life is negatively affected by age and the loss of a loved one. Stress reducing caused by marital, fmancial, health and legal situations influences the increased likelihood of satisfaction with life. Stress caused by work-related problems and the immediate surrounding reduced only slightly the probability of worse quality of life assessment. (original abstract)
