The main objective of the research presented in the article was to diagnose the process of selecting police officers to serve with the criminal investigation department. The research was conducted as a pilot project. The paper describes the essence of the process of selecting employees, with special attention being paid to the phase of recruitment and selection. Problems with taking a decision on hiring for a vacancy were pointed out. Subsequently, the methodological assumptions of research were described. The further part of the paper includes the most interesting results of the research on the human resources management system, taking account of the selection of police officers to serve with the criminal investigation department. Conclusions drawn from the research may provide the basis for improving the discussed human resources management system.

The paper presents the comparative analysis of dwelling maintenance contractors aimed at determining the degree of their utility for users and bidding price of services by applying the method of multicriteria complex proportional assessment. To compare the performance of various maintenance contractors, the data from 15 dwelling maintenance organizations was used. A questionnaire survey of dwelling owners was conducted. Contractors were evaluated by a set of 44 criteria characterizing them from various perspectives. The analysis was made taking into account the standpoints of building owners (clients). The initial weights of qualitative criteria were calculated by expert methods. Then they were coordinated with the calculated values of quantitative criteria using the method of multicriteria complex proportional assessment. Multicriteria analysis of the performance of maintenance contractors allows us to determine the importance of particular contractor characteristics for achieving the aim to meet the needs of different participants of the maintenance process.

Straipsnyje pateikta daugiabučius namus administruojančių įmonių lyginamoji analizė. Tyrimo tikslas - nustatyti daugiabučius namus administruojančių įmonių paslaugų naudingumą namo naudotojams. Pavyzdžiui išspręsti buvo naudoti penkiolikos daugiabučius namus administruojančių įmonių paslaugų rodikliai. Įmonės pagal 44 juos apibūdinančius kriterijus vertino daugiabučių namų gyventojai. Pradiniai kokybinių rodiklių reikšmingumai nustatyti taikant ekspertinį metodą. Kokybinių ir kiekybinių rodiklių reikšmingumai suderinti, optimalus variantas ir variantų naudingumai nustatyti daugiakriterinio kompleksinio proporcingo vertinimo metodu (angl.method of COmplex PRoportional ASsessment, COPRAS). Pagal taikytą metodą derybų metu galima koreguoti pasiūlymų kainas, atsižvelgiant į nustatytą alternatyvų naudingumą. Daugiakriterinė analizė leidžia nustatyti konkretaus rangovo rodiklių reikšmingumus, įvertinus skirtingus daugiabučių namų priežiūros proceso dalyvių poreikius.

W artykule omówiono rolę, jaką odgrywają media społecznościowe w procesach rekrutacyjnych. Celem głównym niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie wyników z badań empirycznych dotyczących wpływu treści zamieszczonych na portalach społecznościowych kandydatów na proces rekrutacji. Celem dodatkowym, który postanowiono zbadać, jest aktualny stan wykorzystywania social mediów przez przedsiębiorstwa w celu pozyskiwania nowych pracowników. Wspomniane powyżej cele zostały zrealizowane w toku badań empirycznych prowadzonych metodą sondażową z wykorzystaniem kwestionariusza ankiety. Badaniami objęto grupę 142 rekruterów z różnych firm i organizacji o kapitale krajowym, mieszanym, jak również zagranicznym. Wyniki przeprowadzonych analiz wskazują na to, że social media są bardzo mocno wykorzystywane przez firmy i organizacje do celów rekrutacyjnych. Innym ważnym wnioskiem z przeprowadzonych obserwacji jest fakt, że ponad 64% badanych rekruterów stwierdziło, że treści zamieszczane na profilach społecznościowych mogą mieć wpływ na procesy rekrutacyjne. Rezultaty przeprowadzonych badań oraz wnioski zawarte w artykule mogą stanowić podstawę do dalszej eksploracji problemu.

The paper concerns the role that social media play in recruitment processes. The main objective of this paper is to show the results of empirical research on how the content published by the candidates on their social media portals influences recruitment processes. Another objective is to analyse the current use of social media by companies in order to recruit new employees. The above-mentioned objectives were achieved through empirical research by the survey method, with the use of a questionnaire. The research involved 142 recruiters from various companies and organizations with domestic, mixed and foreign capital. The results of the research show that companies and organisations use social media extensively for recruitment purposes. Another important result based on the research is that over 64% of the surveyed recruiters consider the content published in social media potentially impactful on recruitment processes. The results of the research and the conclusions presented in the paper may provide the basis for further analysis of the issue.
