In the following article the authoress tries to bring near the problems of giving notice of termination of employment contracts. She concentrates the attention of the reader mainly on employers' dilemmas connected with statutory obligation of giving reasons for submitted notices of termination. She is presenting and discussing the most frequent reasons of termination of a contract by notice, against the background of judicial decisions of the Supreme Court. She is indicating that the radical change of view on the subject of the legal aspect of a notice to terminate an employment contract has taken place both in the doctrine and judicial decisions within the space of last years.
