XX
Zastosowano jednoczynnikowy model Coxa w celu ustalenia istotności, a zatem możliwości włączenia analizowanych zmiennych do modelu wieloczynnikowego.

The analysis of research results on determinants of unemployment duration such as gender, age and education of unemployed have been presented in the article. The methods of analysis of survival, lasting, transition, reliability, and failure duration were used in the research. The model of Cox 's proportional hazard was used to examine influence ofpoten-tia variables on unemployment duration. The single factor Cox's model was used to determine a significance which means determination of possibility of including the analysing variables to multi-factor model. The multi-factor analysis was carried out using the Cox 's multifactor model of proportional hazard which enable an assessment of simultaneous influence of many variables on passage of time till appearance of defined occurrence. The research shows that men can find a job faster than women and young persons and the chance of finding a job increases together with the education level. (original abstract)
