Przedstawiono m.in. udział przedsiębiorstw innowacyjnych w ogólnej liczbie przedsiębiorstw w przemyśle, rodzaje wprowadzonych innowacji. Wskazano również cele działalności innowacyjnej.

In this publication the Author discusses selected measures of technological, organisational and marketing innovations in industrial enterprises in Poland. The level of these measures and their dynamics is compared with aims which have been received in the National strategy of cohesion. This methodical approach shows significant divergence between strategic aims of the Polish economy and reality. A small percentage of industrial enterprises fulfils criterion of innovation enterprise. (original abstract)

In turbulent environments competitive advantages of firms undergo fast erosion. Tightening competition constrains companies to fight against crises and flexibly oscillate between stability aimed at strengthening existing advantages and change aimed at early building new advantages while withdrawing from those loosing importance. Innovations as vehicles for intended change should evolve from sporadic events to key and systematic processes. The article presents the opinions of 83 participants of managerial post diploma studies in Katowice, gathered in 2013 enabling to point out the weak and strong points in the process of adjusting their companies to new economy based on transient advantages.
