Digital cinema history should support the conduct of free research, encourage authors to share the results of their findings and source discoveries. The problem is that Polish digital history of cinema, on one hand, is very poor (still a small part of sources and theoretical, historical and critical scientific achievements is available on-line), on the other hand, what has already appeared, is not representative because it omits largely the work of film studying authorities. For example, on the Internet you can find the views of researchers of the younger generation about the cultural history of the cinema in Polish context, including criticism of thesis described by scientific tycoons, but these are the texts that can be read only in paper publications. It begins to be, by the scientific standards, strange, because in the history of digital cinema leading roles are played by the young researchers, but without a clash of views with the authorities. The fact that on the net there are no statements concerning the scientific research given by the greatest experts of Polish cinema, who do not want to turn into a discussion with the young ones, causes the situation in which data to the history of Polish cinema digitally available are (so far) not always satisfying either as the aspect of cognition or the source.

The article shows that the biggest beneficiary of possibilities opened by infrastructure of information society is not contemporary literary avant-garde (hypertexts, electronic literature etc.) but popular literature ingrained in the very centre of social communication. Authors like Dehnel and Witkowski through their media activity, writing features in newspapers, blogging, using Facebook, organizing events in public space etc. blur the line between book and media environment and create interactive, transmedia literary space. Literature goes beyond books and libraries, like previously visual arts left traditional space of museum. Texts go out of books, enter a public space, meet people, connect with other media, setting up literary database scattered throughout the culture, which can be used in a different ways.

Kultura audiowizualna wywołała i określiła nowe postawy odbiorcze, tworząc tym samym inne niż parę lat temu możliwości i potrzeby współczesnego dziecka w wieku wczesnoszkolnym. Jednocześnie motywują do literackiej praktyki, umożliwiając rozwój kompetencji czytelniczych i umiejętności rozpoznawania świata.

The advent of audiovisual culture has activated and created new attitudes and needs in contemporary early school children than just a few years earlier. If we assume that a pupil brought up in such a reality is able to handle the code of new media, including TV, and his perception of the world is based on audiovisual perception, then the process of literary education at the first educational stage should be especially carefully thought out. For it is about choosing such texts which not only present the verbal art but also respond to a considerably redefined anthropological situation. Texts of audiovisual literature which are addressed to younger readers are consistent with such assumptions. These are texts which, as a result of exceeding the horizons reserved for only one artistic genre, harmonize with the natural, current abilities and demands of children. At the same time, they motivate them to engage in literary practice, enabling the development of reading competences and world recognition ability. This paper is an attempt to explain the role of audiovisual literature in the familiarization of pupils with reading against an outlined background and with the aid of exemplification. The thesis is examined that it is necessary to bring children at younger school up reading in such a way that it should contain literary texts which make use of the experiences and achievements of new media, connecting with them, and at the same time not losing their artistic values in the process. The presented examples and conclusions are to constitute a constructive answer to a given state of affairs.

The article proposes the hypothesis that on the basis of analytical and interpretative practices, when describing, analysing and interpretating moving images, a dichotomous, binary division into objective and subjective images is a highly questionable move: it does not lend itself to an absolutely unequivocal resolution. In film, as in the field of moving images as a whole, there is no objective narration, just as there is no subjective narration. What emerges is an ostensibly dependent narration (or ostensibly independent), blending and merging both of these aspirations in diverse ways.

Film pedagogy is one of the educational topics of bp Adam Lepa’s media studies. It concerns the problem of the domination of images over words in audiovisual culture, the development of visual thinking skills and axiological understanding of communication, as well as practical educational principles addressed to young viewers. This original concept can be integrated with the problems of contemporary sports film to looking for new opportunities in audiovisual media education.
