W niniejszym opracowaniu dokonano oceny wpływu determinant natury behawioralnej i pozabehawioralnych na zmiany w zakresie wolumenu obrotów na pięciu rynkach zaliczanych do grupy rozwiniętych i pięciu rynkach zaliczanych do grupy rozwijających się. Obok takich czynników, jak racjonalne oczekiwania, badaniu poddane zostały determinanty behawioralne, takie jak m.in. optymizm, pesymizm oraz nadmierna pewność siebie. Celem przeprowadzonego badania jest ustalenie, czy przesłanki, jakimi kierują się inwestorzy w państwach, których rynki kapitałowe zaliczane są do rozwijających się, są tożsame z tymi, które przyświecają inwestorom w państwach, których rynki kapitałowe znajdują się w grupie rozwiniętych. Wyniki badań pozwalają stwierdzić, iż w przypadku giełd zaliczanych do rynków rozwiniętych liczba determinant behawioralnych oddziałujących na zmiany wolumenu obrotów wzrasta.

This study assesses the impact of behavioral and non-behavioral determinants on changes in turnover volume in five markets considered as developed and five markets considered as emerging ones. In addition to such factors as rational expectations, behavioral determinants (optimism, pessimism and overconfidence) were taken into account. The aim of the study is to determine whether the reasons for investors in countries whose capital markets are counted among those emerging are identical to those that guide investors in countries whose capital markets are in the developed group. The results of the study allow to conclude that in the case of stock exchanges classified as developed markets, the number of behavioral determinants affecting changes in the volume of trade is increasing.
