W artykule przybliżono koncepcję społecznej odpowiedzialności przedsiębiorstw oraz elementy, które są pomocne we wprowadzeniu tej idei w życie (kodeksy etyczne, programy etyczne). Zostały również pokazane przykłady organizacji, które bardzo aktywnie i z dużym zaangażowaniem podejmują działania w tym zakresie, propagując tzw. biznes ekologiczny. Omówiono także inicjatywy, które promują tę koncepcję na bardzo szeroką skalę.

This article is an attempt to explore the idea of Corporate Social Responsibility and review the necessary factors and arrangements regarding the implementation of ethical codes and programmes. Furthermore, special attention has been paid to the organizations undertaking actions in order to fulfil the principles of CSR – among others by promoting "ecological business". Finally, the article covers various initiatives that support activity as regards Corporate Social Responsibility.
