Resilience ojców dzieci z ASD w czasie trwania pandemii COVID-19

The Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic posed a new and crucial challenge for both the health care system and the education and social policy sectors. The lockdown period turned out to be a source of significant difficulties in the functioning of many people. Persons with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their relatives were in a particularly difficult situation. The aim of the research was to find out the level and dimensions of resilience of fathers of children with ASD in the COVID-19 pandemic. The research tool was a questionnaire developed by the authors and the Resilience Scale (SPP-25) developed by Ogińska-Bulik and Juczyński. The results of elasticity measurement indicate its average level. The respondents showed a higher intensity factor: optimistic attitude to life and the ability to mobilize in difficult situations.

Sytuacja pandemii związanej z koronawirusem SARS-CoV-2 stanowiła nowe, znaczące wyzwanie zarówno dla systemu opieki zdrowotnej, jak i sektora edukacji oraz polityki społecznej. Okres lockdownu znacząco utrudnił funkcjonowanie wielu osób. W szczególnie trudnej sytuacji znalazły się osoby z zaburzeniami ze spektrum autyzmu (ASD – autism spectrum disorder) i ich bliscy. Celem badań było poznanie poziomu i wymiarów resilience ojców dzieci z ASD w pandemii COVID-19. Narzędzie badawcze stanowił kwestionariusz ankiety w opracowaniu autorek oraz Resilience Scale (SPP-25) autorstwa Niny Ogińskiej-Bulik i Zygfryda Juczyńskiego. Wyniki pomiaru prężności wskazują, że kształtuje się on na średnim poziomie. Badani uzyskali wyższe nasilenie czynnika: optymistyczne nastawienie do życia i zdolność mobilizowania się w trudnych sytuacjach.
