Recently, the rapid development of innovative technologies based on cloud computing has been observed. Many countries are not keeping up with the relevant legislation, while cloud computing adoption requires transparent and high-quality regulations. This paper is focused on European Union member states. It checks whether the quality of regulation has an impact on cloud computing usage in EU countries. As regulations, quality data from the World Bank’s Worldwide Governance Regulatory Quality 2021 indicator was used. Data on cloud computing usage from Eurostat questionnaires on ICT from 2021 were used. Between these variables, there is a moderate to strong linear correlation and causality. The univariate linear regression model was proposed to explain the impact of regulatory quality on cloud computing usage in a quantitative way. The regulatory quality indicator increased by one resulted in the increase in cloud computing usage by 21.56% by companies ceteris paribus. The model presented explains 40% of the variance for cloud computing usage by regulatory quality indicator. These conclusions can be valuable from the management perspective for governments that aim to increase the innovativeness and competitiveness of economies, for enterprises that consider the implementation of cloud computing services, and for non-governmental organizations that can have an impact on legislation to contribute to economic development.

Outsourcing jest instrumentem podnoszącym efektywność działania przedsiębiorstw, w tym również efektywność działania podmiotów leczniczych. Wykorzystywany jest on w wielu obszarach. Brak konieczności tworzenia infrastruktury serwerowej, dostęp do nieograniczonych zasobów obliczeniowych będą powodować, iż CC stanie się ważnym narzędziem budowy efektywności w podmiocie leczniczym. W artykule wykazano rosnącą potrzebę korzystania z danych zawartych w systemach informatycznych oraz perspektywę rozwoju usług typu CC w ochronie zdrowia. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na stan przygotowania polskich podmiotów leczniczych do ustawy o systemie informacji w ochronie zdrowia.

This research study investigated whether the innovation of online video media spoken in both Thai and English with appropriate subtitles improved English skills for new students in Business Computing at Suratthani Rajabhat University. Ninety two students were split equally between an experimental group using video online media for learning and a control group learning the same content face-to-face in the classroom. Evaluation was conducted through achievement and satisfaction tests. Trials of the instructional media by 33 students with a range of English skills helped to improve it. At the end of the learning period all students using the video online media passed the achievement test standard but only 54% of the control group passed. There was no significant difference between the pre-test scores of the two groups. The post-test scores showed that the experimental group had a significantly higher average score (23.39) than the control group (14.89) at the p level of 0.05. The achievement test results of the experimental group (listening = 3.98, reading =3.89, writing = 3.93, speaking = 3.91, discussion =3.91, presenting = 3.87) were significantly higher than the control group (listening = 2.94, reading =3.07, writing = 2.72, speaking = 1.93, discussion =2.20, presenting = 2.20) at the p level of 0.01 in every English skill. The students’ satisfaction for the innovation rated out of 5 was at a high level overall (4.54), the students were satisfied with the innovation (4.67), the innovation was interesting (4.63), and the innovation was easy to understand (4.28).

The rapid evolution of technology and taking into account the contributions of nanotechnologies contribute to the improvement of Information System performance and provide access to new features in CLOUD COMPUTING STORAGE, for example, creation of new services, realization of the popular idea of green IT, simplification of IT network. In this new context of virtualization facilitating the relocation of data processing and storage, there is a large gap regarding the ownership of data and the future of data related to private life. The consequences of the existence of such a gap may ultimately be a barrier to any expansion of these new features. Multiple strategies are considered for future progress in order to develop the laws and rules governing Cloud Computing. A think tank, based on existing regulations in different countries, with the help of the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) could propose as a first step in Europe, a common regulation that, in the context of the implementation of European governance, would ensure compliance with privacy and respect of the right of data ownership. The CESIC (Cercle d’Etude de la Sécurité Industrielle et Commerciale) has conducted a reflection in this domain as a first step leading to the need for confidentiality and data exchanges.

This paper addresses a new cloud solution for e-Ordering and e-Invoicing solution. We faced several challenges in the process of the migration of the existing web application on the cloud, such as the reorganization of the proposed non-cloud model and the definition of the software modules that can communicate in a dynamic environment. In the design process we classified two kinds of software modules: static and dynamic. The classification is based on the level of required elasticity and scalability, as well as the activity that is associated with the corresponding module (tool). To finalize the implementation of this idea, we have developed indicators to determine the required conditions for the activation of additional cloud resources or the deactivation of the involved resources. The result of this design process is a new cost-effective solution with increased availability and performance compared to the non-cloud model. We also recognized the advantages and disadvantages of such a cloud solution, and discussed the characteristics that make our approach unique.

The paper is devoted to a very topical issue of today – the efficient organization of teaching mathematical disciplines of university students in the distance form. The author analyzes the main normative legal documents on the implementation of distance learning in Ukraine. Some minimum requirements for organizational, personnel, scientific and methodological, material and technical bases, information and hardware support of the university for implementing the technology of distance learning in educational practice are given in the paper. Last academic year due to the complex socio-political situation in the east of the country Donetsk National University had to evacuate to Vinnytsya. There was no doubt that in these new conditions an effective teaching just would be really impossible. If it were not for distance learning technologies provided. The distance learning in Donetsk National University was the only practical delivery format to train our students in our educational environment because distance education is that educational mode whereby a student can learn “at a distance”. The instructor and students interact at a distance without having to be physically present in the same location. The author presents own experience of Donetsk National University in designing and implementing of e-learning courses. Certain elements of distance learning at the University have been implemented since 2008. Leaders of Department of distance learning and web technologies and some teachers of the Department of Higher Mathematics and Methodology of teaching mathematics have been successfully involved in some international projects. The examples of some distance learning courses on various mathematical disciplines at the Department of Higher Mathematics and Methodology of teaching mathematics: "Foundations of Higher Mathematics" and "Mathematical Principles of Information activity" are also given. These courses include information about tutors of this course with a link to personal website of the lecturer; schedule; curriculum; e-lectures with links for downloading; slide lectures (programmed in Notebook for SmartBoard); recommended books with links for downloading; online quizzes; online consultation, forum and chat modules; topics of creative tasks and library of scientific projects (the best works of previous students) etc.

Cloud computing is a model of leveraging IT resources offered by providers via the Internet. In this model, small and medium-sized enterprises are able to transfer the costs of building and maintaining IT infrastructure to third parties. The IT resources are available on demand, and the consumers pay merely for the resources actually used. A key factor limiting the adoption of cloud computing are security concerns. However, these concerns should be collated with the security benefits possible to achieve thanks to the cloud’s characteristics. This paper presents an analysis of the risks and benefits in the area of security related to cloud computing implementation in companies and an overview of initiatives aimed at increasing the awareness in this area.
