Ubezpieczenia stanowią ważną część gospodarki. W ostatnich latach dynamicznie kształtuje się gospodarka oparta na współpracy i współdzieleniu, w której doskonalenie istniejących produktów ubezpieczeniowych i ich dystrybucja tradycyjnymi kanałami zaczynają być niewystarczające. Artykuł koncentruje się na stwierdzeniu, że ekonomia współpracy jest jednym z powodów wprowadzania innowacji technologicznych na rynku ubezpieczeniowym, szczególnie przez firmy z sektora InsurTech. Celem artykułu jest przegląd literatury pod kątem omówienie pojęcia ekonomii współpracy, jej wpływu na zmieniające się potrzeby uczestników rynku ubezpieczeniowego oraz wskazanie nowoczesnych technologii wykorzystywanych przez startupy InsurTech w celu spersonalizowania ubezpieczeń.

Insurance is an important part of the economy. In recent years, the economy based on cooperation and sharing has dynamically developed in which the improvement of existing insurance products and their distribution via traditional channels are beginning to be insufficient. The article focuses on the statement that the cooperation economy is one of the reasons for introducing technological innovations on the insurance market, especially by companies from the InsurTech sector. The aim of the article is to review the literature in terms of discussing the concept of collaborative economics, its impact on the changing needs of insurance market participants and the indication of modern technologies used by InsurTech startups to personalize insurance.
