The article presents the image of the White Eagle as a propaganda symbol during the war with the Bolsheviks. It was used in the creation of posters, leaflets, appeals and one-day papers. The author’s reflections are accompanied with examples of social life documents from the collections of the Central Military Library.

Autor w artykule przedstawia wizerunek Orła Białego jako symbolu propagandowego w okresie walk z bolszewikami, który wykorzystywany był między innymi przy projektowaniu afiszy, druków ulotnych, odezw i jednodniówek. Rozważania autora zostały zilustrowane przykładami dokumentów życia społecznego znajdującymi się w zbiorach Centralnej Biblioteki Wojskowej.
