This paper informs about the development of courses realised at the Pedagogical Faculty of the University of Ostrava in a combined study. It is engaged in the course of the Special Subject Teaching Studies in detail, which is guaranteed by the Department of Technical and Vocational Education.

Cílem příspěvku je poukázat na problematiku současného využití počítače ve výuce v kombinované a distanční formě studia. Kromě podpory a řízení vzdělávacího procesu slouží v případě internetového připojení k vyhledávání informací, komunikaci, e-learningu a dalším aktivitám využitelnými jak pedagogy, tak studenty. Průzkumná sonda prokázala prohlubování počítačové gramotnosti respondentů, jejíž základy získali již v průběhu studia na střední škole.

The objective of this entry is to point out problems connected with the present usage of computers in education as regards the combined and distant form of study. Except supporting and controlling the educational process, computers – when connected to internet – serve for searching information, communication, e-learning and other activities that can be utilized both by pedagogues and students. Exploring interviews have proven a deepening computer literacy of respondents the basis of which they acquired already during the course of study at high school.
