The instrument to be applied in order to raise net circulating capital is stepped coupon bonds, a novel solution non-existent on the Polish market. Restructuring factoring applied sporadically in Poland and Germany is an instrument reducing the demand for the corporate net circulating capital. The article presents the idea of these instruments and the possibility of using them by a company in financial difficulty.

The Entrepreneurs Restructuring Fund operated in the Polish legal system for 15 years. After more than a year since its liquidation, it is necessary to consider the accuracy of this decision. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja koncepcji lean management, jako jednej z dróg restrukturyzacji przedsię- biorstwa. Realizacja celu wymagała omówienia istoty restrukturyzacji przedsiębiorstwo dokonując jej charakterystyki wraz ze wskazaniem obszarów, w których ona zachodzi. Następnie dokonano opisu istoty koncepcji lean management wraz ze wskazaniem konkretnych metod i technik zarządzania zawierających się w koncepcji lean management. Struktura artykułu obejmuje również opis czynników determinujących efektywne wykorzystanie koncepcji lean management w restrukturyzacji przedsiębiorstwa. Ponadto, wskazano i opisano pięć podejść do wdro- żenia lean management w przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym.

The main objective of the article refers to the presentation of lean management concept as one of the possible way of restructuring the company. In the first part, the essence of company restructuring was described, together with an indication of the areas in which it occurs. Subsequently, the attention was paid to the essence of lean management concept along with an indication of specific methods and techniques of management which are contained within the concept of lean management. The structure of the article also includes a description of the factors determining the effective use of the lean management concept in the company restructuring. Moreover, five approaches referring to the implementation of the lean management concept in the restructuring company were identified and described.
