Nie ulega wątpliwości, że nieodłącznym elementem relacji między pracodawcą a pracownikiem jest przetwarzanie danych osobowych. W tej sferze życia społecznego pracownik autonomii informacyjnej zachować nie może, co nie oznacza jednakże swobody pracodawcy w pozyskiwaniu i gromadzeniu dowolnych o nim informacji. Ochronę pracownika przed nadmiernymi żądaniami pracodawcy w tym zakresie przewidują przepisy Kodeksu pracy.

These are not only duties of the public authorities legally confirmed that include attention to the information sources in possession. The necessity of providing safety for the collected information requires application of proper organizational solutions, thus it is one of key elements of the management in a particular organizational unit. Identification of threats to the security of the information and abilities of their efficient management, become a vulnerable skill as functioning without it in the information society age is impossible.
