Znaczenie współpracy może być rozpatrywane w perspektywie historycznej. Nigdy dotąd nie była ona tak ważna, jak obecnie. Współczesne zmiany społeczne, polityczne, ekonomiczne i oświatowe wymagają innego spojrzenia na współpracę podmiotów edukacyjnych. Wydaje się, że są one od siebie coraz bardziej zależne i potrzebują wzajemnych relacji do osiągania celów edukacyjnych. Jednym z zadań placówki przedszkolnej jest socjalizacja najmłodszych. Może ona przebiegać prawidłowo jedynie wtedy, gdy jest zorganizowana z udziałem wspomnianej instytucji, rodziców i lokalnej społeczności. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie roli współpracy podmiotów edukacyjnych oraz wpływu owej współpracy na rozwój intelektualny i wychowawczy dzieci. Artykuł prezentuje zarówno korzyści wynikające ze współpracy, jak i trudności w jej organizacji. Posiada charakter porównawczy, gdyż przybliża rozwiązania innych krajów w tym zakresie. Dodatkowo scharakteryzowane zostały pilotażowe badania dotyczące współpracy placówek przedszkolnych z rodzicami i lokalną społecznością.

The importance of cooperation can be examined from the historical perspective and in Poland it was not as popular even five years ago as it is today. Contemporary social, political, economic and educational changes have forced a different meaning of cooperation of the participants of education. It seems that they are more dependent on one another and they need each other to fulfil educational purposes. One of the tasks of the preschool institution is to socialize young learners. It can be done properly only when it is organized as a collaboration between the mentioned institution, parents and the local community. The aim of the article is to depict how cooperation among those educational participants is valuable and how it influences children. The paper shows both the benefits and some difficulties concerning its organisation. It has a comparative dimension because it approximates the adjustments of other countries connected to it. What is more, some fragmentary research of cooperation between pre-school institutions, parents and local community is characterized.

Artykuł odnosi się do wsparcia edukacji i kariery młodzieży w placówkach edukacyjnych. Zwrócono uwagę na elementy, które sprzyjają skutecznemu doradztwu, czyli kulturę organizacji, współpracę z lokalnym środowiskiem, diagnozę potencjału jednostki, niedyrektywne wsparcie i opis osiągnięć uczniów pozbawiony oceny, przy założeniu, że są to czynniki warunkujące skuteczne wsparcie w zakresie edukacji i kariery. Przedstawione zostały także wyniki oraz wnioski z badań przeprowadzonych w latach 2013−2014.

This article deals with guidance in education and career guidance for youth. Five aspects of guidance with major influence on the guidance process have been described. These are: friendly organizational culture which is fundamental for guidance, cooperation with the local community, assessment (diagnosis) of the individual’s characteristics, non-directive support in the development of learning outcomes and non-judgemental description of achievements. The conclusions of the research have been presented with regard to the above-mentioned areas. The article presents various aspects of the assistance and support that can be offered to young people while at school in view of their fundamental decisions with respect to education and professional career. It shows an approach to guidance that respects the individual characteristics of a person. Guidance needs to be adapted to an individual’s prospects for the future success in the society and the labor market. It is also important that „the whole guidance is education,” and therefore guidance is an important factor affecting the resources of an individual and their successful application in the future. Education and career guidance is dependent on the organization’s culture and values. The cooperation of schools with the local community plays an important role in guidance. The concept of guidance is in line with democratic values and principles, according to which each individual is responsible for themselves, their families and the community. Guidance plays a crucial role in the development of an individual.
