The aim of this publication is to present the equipment enabling the collection of comparative material for otoscopic and cheiloscopic identification which was constructed by the company STANIMEX (Ltd.). The authors emphasise that if you have otoscopic and cheiloscopic traces and want to identify a person who may have left the trace, you should collect comparative material of appropriate quality. In addition, interesting data has been presented, provided by the Scientific Development Department of the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police, concerning, for example, the number of positive and negative identifications.

Los desafíos cambiantes para mantener la seguridad del Estado, la transformación de la estructura demográfica de la sociedad hacen necesario ampliar e intensificar los esfuerzos para dotar al Estado de una defensa y disuasión eficaces. A lo largo de los años, Polonia ha llevado a cabo programas destinados a influir en el número y la calidad de las Fuerzas Armadas como uno de los elementos de la seguridad del país. El artículo presenta la correlación entre los programas introducidos de activación de la sociedad y la dinámica del aumento del número de las Fuerzas Armadas. Los análisis emergentes de las percepciones de los polacos sobre su implicación en la defensa de la patria indican la legitimidad de la introducción de nuevos programas que influyan en las actitudes sociales y den lugar a un aumento del número de las Fuerzas Armadas.

The aim of this paper is to present the results of a study, carried out in a forensic science laboratory, on the effectiveness of a station for fingermark development with fingerprint powders on nonporous substrates (SDU – 513), in terms of increasing the safety of persons exposed to the harmful effects of dust during the visualization of the above-mentioned traces with a light powder – argentorate. The authors demonstrate that the fan-activated equipment repeatedly reduces the concentration of dust fractions PM10 as well as PM2.5 in the air above its working surface. They also stress that the SDU – 513 station does not completely eliminate the risk of, among other things, dust entering the lungs. With the above in mind, they conclude the article with a series of recommendations to ensure safe and hygienic working conditions for the operators of the said equipment.

Za cel niniejszej pracy obrano zaprezentowanie wyników badań, przeprowadzonych w laboratorium kryminalistyki nad skutecznością stanowiska do ujawniania śladów daktyloskopijnych proszkami daktyloskopijnymi na podłożach niechłonnych (SDU - 513), w zakresie zwiększenia bezpieczeństwa osób narażonych na szkodliwe działanie pyłów podczas wizualizacji ww. śladów proszkiem lekkim - argentoratem. Autorzy udowadniają, że sprzęt z włączonym wentylatorem obniża wielokrotnie stężenie pyłu zarówno frakcji PM10, jak i PM2,5 w powietrzu nad jego powierzchnią roboczą. Podkreślają oni również, że stanowisko SDU - 513 nie eliminuje całkowicie zagrożenia związanego m.in. z dostaniem się pyłu do płuc. Mając powyższe na uwadze, w podsumowaniu publikacji zaprezentowane zostały rekomendacje dla osób obsługujących wspomniane urządzenie, aby zapewnić im bezpieczne i higieniczne warunki pracy.
