The article presents selected challenges for social insurance in Poland in 2022 and their determinants. W artykule przeanalizowano wybrane wyzwania dla ubezpieczeń społecznych w Polsce w 2022 r. i ich uwarunkowań, analizując je z perspektywy aktywności Zakładu Ubezpieczeń Społecznych i jego zadań. Odniesiono się do sytuacji o sytuacji finansowej Funduszu Ubezpieczeń Społecznych i wydatków na świadczenia, a głównie na emerytury. Zwrócono uwagę na fundamentalne zasady systemu emerytalnego i potrzebę zachowania adekwatności świadczeń z tego systemu. Tłem tych wszystkich działań są strategiczne działania Zakładu na rzecz automatyzacji, elektronizacji i depapieryzacji usług dla klientów, realizowane w kontekście budowania w Polsce spójnego systemu e-administracji.
