The aim of the conducted analyses was to determine the causes and effects of thinking about emendation in the concept of Comenius. Review studies have been carried out. Some of Comenius' texts on aspect of emendation were analysed. Then, they were compared with the basic assumption of Comenius’ concept in philosophical anthropology. In the analyses, the analytical-synthetic method was used. It must be concluded that the use of emendation in the education system results from Comenius's concept of anthropology. Comenius spoke about the double emendation, which concerned the repair of the humanity of man himself and the repair of the social system. Education is a emendation for Comenius in order to achieve harmony and unity with the transcendent dimension. Emendation is a necessary means to correct the social error and humanity in man. The Panpaedia in Comenius' concept is an emendation leading to Panorthosis.

Celem prowadzonych analiz było określenie przyczyn i skutków myślenia o emendacji w koncepcji Jana Amosa Komeńskiego. Przeprowadzono badania przeglądowe. Przeanalizowano niektóre teksty czeskiego uczonego, uwzględniając aspekt emendacji, a następnie – dzięki zastosowaniu metody analityczno-krytycznej – zestawiono je z podstawą myślenia antropologicznego w jego koncepcji. Należy wnioskować, że przyjęta przez Komeńskiego antropologia była przyczyną użycia przez niego emendacji i jednocześnie była przyczyną jej zastosowania w procesie edukacji. Komeński mówił o emendacji, która dotyczyła naprawy człowieczeństwa samego człowieka i emendacji systemu społecznego. Dla Komeńskiego edukacja jest emendacją wprowadzoną w celu osiągnięcia harmonii i jedności z wymiarem transcendentnym. Emendacja jest koniecznym środkiem do naprawienia błędu społecznego i człowieczeństwa w człowieku. W koncepcji Komeńskiego dotyczy ona korekty człowieczeństwa, a nie samego człowieka, jest także narzędziem zmiany systemu społeczno-politycznego. Powszechna edukacja Panpaedpia w koncepcji Komeńskiego jest emendacją prowadzącą do Panorthosis.
