Mariologia bardzo dużo mówi o relacjach między Maryją a wcielonym Synem Bożym i Duchem Świętym, a o Jej relacji z Ojcem prawie wcale. A przecież mówiąc o Synu i Matce, nie można milczeć o Ojcu. Pełnia obdarowania prowadziła Maryję do szczególnej, niepowtarzalnej komunii z całą Trójcą Świętą. II Sobór Watykański nazwał Ją „Rodzicielką Syna Bożego, a przez to najbardziej umiłowaną córą Ojca Niebieskiego”, integralnie włączoną w ustalony przez Ojca zamysł zbawienia. W Maryi dokonało się komunijne spełnienie osoby – stała się macierzyńską ikoną ojcostwa Ojca i bramą historiozbawczej komunii zbawienia, a Jej udział w historii zbawienia dopełnił się w komunii eschatycznej, gdzie odbiera cześć w chwale Ojca.

Mariology talks a lot about the relationship between Mary and the incarnated Son of God and the Holy Spirit, but about her relationship with the Father almost at all. But speaking of the Son and the Mother, you can not be silent about the Father. The fullness of the God's gift led Mary to the special and unique communion with the whole Holy Trinity. The Second Vatican Council called her “Mother of the Son of God, and thus the most beloved daughter of the Heavenly Father”, integrally incorporated into the plan of salvation set by the Father. In Mary, the communion of the person was accomplished - she became the maternal icon of fatherhood of the Father and the gate of the history of the communion ofsalvation, and her participation in the history of salvation was fulfilled in the eschatological communion, where she receives the praise in the glory of the Father.
