Proces rewitalizacji objął wiele polskich miast. Rewitalizacja zmieniła oblicza wielu centrów historycznych, osiedli mieszkaniowych i terenów poprzemysłowych. Ożywają i przeobrażają się place miejskie, ulice, parki, skwery, zespoły mieszkaniowe oraz lokalne przestrzenie zabudowane. Jednym z podstawowych elementów przekształcenia przestrzeni publicznej staje się detal urbanistyczny usytuowany w kluczowych lokalizacjach miejskich. Jako element uzupełniający przestrzeń staje się on głównym składnikiem jej kompozycji. Umiejętny dobór detalu urbanistycznego świadczy o poziomie kształtowania przestrzeni publicznej w środowisku zbudowanym miasta. We wnioskach podsumowano znaczenie detalu urbanistycznego w przestrzeniach miejskich.

The revitalization process took many Polish cities. Revitalization of a spatial changed the face of many historical centers, housing estates and industrial areas. Come to life and transform into squares, streets, parks, housing complexes and local built spaces. The elements which organise a urban composition is called the site detail. One of the key elements of the transformation of public space has become the site detail. Composition of site detail relate in city to the key locations As a complementary space has become a major component of its composition. Skilful selection and combination of detail shows the level of urban public space in shaping the site environment of the city. Conclusions emphasizes the importance of urban detail components for urban space.
