O. Karol Meissner (właściwie Wojciech Meissner) brał udział w powstaniu warszawskim. Był lekarzem, benedyktynem, rozwijał również poradnictwo dotyczące małżeństw i rodziny, współtworzył katolicką naukę dotyczącą podstaw moralnych życia małżeńskiego. Wykładał psychologię na Katolickim Uniwersytecie Medycznym. Działał też na rzecz odbudowy klasztoru benedyktynów w Lubiniu.

Friar Karol Meissner took part in the Warsaw uprising. He was a doctor and Benedictin. He was one of the creator of Catholic marriage guidance and family counseling. He was University lecturer at The John Paul II (The Second) Catholic University of Lublin. He taught psychology. He contributed to reconstruction of Benedictines abbey in Lubiń.
