After the January Uprising, until 1905, apart from agricultural societies, charity was the only form of social activity of Poles allowed by the Russian authorities. Political changes in the Russian state after 1905 resulted in the dynamic development of Polish political, social and charitable organizations. The aim of the article is to present selected forms of charitable activity of the Polish population in Minsk in the years 1906-1909.
