The strategies of modern companies deal with their independent development but the concepts which make use of connections and partnership cooperation with other entities are gaining more significance. Cooperation may become, besides competition, the key to a market success. There are new forms of this cooperation, new organisational structures, a new perception of a business company focusing on a high dynamics of changes in the ways it operates and interacts with the environment. Network organisation may be regarded as one of these forms of cooperation. The article presents theoretical considerations referring to different approaches to the comprehension of the idea of network organisation and its features. It indicates, against this background, the major sources of competitive advantage created by network organisations as well as the determinants of their creation. The empirical section of the article presents selected results of empirical research conducted in 2013 on a sample of 363 companies belonging to network organisations. They dealt with, for example, the determinants of network organisation creation in the Polish business practice.

The paper aims to present the issues related to the cooperation between teachers and pupils’ parents. Considering the importance and legitimacy of its occurrence in various forms and manifestations, the author conducted a qualitative study in an attempt to answer the following question: What is the image of this collaboration emerging from the teachers’ narrations as a partof the qualitative interviews conducted with them? The picture reveals teachers’ perspective on their pupils’ parents and cooperation with them, indicating some discrepancy and inadequacy in this area.

The social activity of women living in rural areas is highly diversified and includes, for example, Rural Women Associations (RWAs), traditional organisations historically embedded in the Polish countryside. Having served their local rural populations for ages, they have always been in need of a diversified capital. Its acquisition can be facilitated through different entities, with cooperation taking a variety of forms and defi nitions. My analysis focuses on RWAs’ partnerships with local and external organisations located outside their commune (in Polish: gmina). What local entities do RWAs engage in cooperation with most frequently and in what form? Do they cooperate with entities from outside their commune? The RWAs included in my study tended to collaborate mostly with other RWAs and, much less frequently, with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) of the new type, Volunteer Fire Brigades (VFBs), and Local Action Groups (LAGs). They did not engage in collaboration with social cooperatives and only rarely worked with local or external public institutions and NGOs from other areas than their gmina. Joint implementation of projects proved to be the preferred form; however, RWAs were not included in the project preparation. Given their limited potential in establishing cooperation with other entities, the role of RWAs in the creation and implementation of social services in rural areas remains largely limited. With cooperation reduced almost exclusively to the local level, the acquisition of the financial, human, and social capital from institutions and organisations located outside rural areas is diminished, petrifying the local relationships and preventing change in the culture of cooperation.

Przedsiębiorstwa usług logistycznych, będące swego rodzaju dostawcami świadczeń, nawiązują ze swymi usługobiorcami wiele relacji. Przybierają one różne formy współdziałania, począwszy od prostych form transakcji handlowych na złożonych formach, o charakterze koncentracyjnym kończąc. Z tego względu istotnym zagadnieniem staje się wskazanie czynników, mających wpływ na kształtowanie wzajemnych relacji usługodawców logistycznych i ich usługobiorców. Stąd celem artykułu jest określenie doboru czynników do dalszych badań oraz wskazanie kluczowych determinant, wpływających na wybór formy współdziałania.

Logistic enterprises, being a consideration supplier, establish a different relations with theirs receivers. There are lot of various forms of relationships, as from simple business transactions till to a complex, concentrated forms. Therefore important issue is to point out factors, which govern on mutual relationships between logistic enterprises and theirs receivers. Hence objective of this article is determinate the factors selection for future studies, and indication key determinants, which govern on selection a relationship.

Dla prawidłowego rozwoju dziecka kluczowe są dwa środowiska, w których przebiega proces wychowania i edukacji. Rodzina i szkoła powinny się wzajemnie uzupełniać i realizować założone wspólnie cele. Ich relacje dodatnio wpływają na wielostronny rozwój dziecka, osiąganie lepszych wyników w nauce oraz prawidłowe funkcjonowanie w relacjach społecznych. Dobra współpraca pomiędzy środowiskiem szkolnym i rodzinnym przyczynia się do zmniejszenia ryzyka powstania problemów wychowawczych, kreowania atmosfery wzajemnego zaufania i zrozumienia. Jest ona również korzystna dla osób dorosłych: nauczycieli i rodziców, którzy budując relacje partnerskie, stają się bardziej otwarci na siebie i potrzeby dziecka. W artykule autorki starają się udzielić odpowiedzi na pytanie, czym jest partnerstwo szkoły i rodziców oraz jakie czynniki wpływają na dobre relacje szkoła – dom. Omawiają również, jakie tradycyjne formy współpracy są wykorzystywane w praktyce edukacyjnej, wskazując ich pozytywne aspekty dla budowania przestrzeni spotkania. Wśród form współdziałania pomiędzy nauczycielami a rodzicami zostały uwzględnione także te, które bazują na współczesnych narzędziach technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych. W tym zakresie zwrócono szczególną uwagę na wykorzystanie narzędzi internetowych. Na podstawie analizowanej literatury przedmiotu ukazano znaczenie współdziałania i potrzebę podjęcia szerokich działań w zakresie poprawy relacji pomiędzy nauczycielami a rodzicami. W tekście artykułu wskazano czynniki, które sprzyjają podniesieniu efektywności całego procesu edukacyjnego, ukazano, że są one korzystne dla wszystkich podmiotów biorących w nim udział.

Two environments where the process of upbringing and education takes place are crucial for the correct development of a child. The family and the school should be mutually complementary and should strive for the accomplishment of jointly determined objectives. Their relations have a positive impact on the multilateral development of a child, with better learning results and proper functioning in social relations. Good cooperation between the school environment and the family contributes to a decreased risk of educational problems and creates an atmosphere of mutual trust and understanding. It is also beneficial for adults, i.e. teachers and parents who, whilst building partner relations, are becoming more open towards themselves and the child’s needs. In this article, the authors attempt to provide an answer to the question about the partnership of school and parents, the factors influencing good relations between the school and the family home. They also discuss traditional forms of cooperation that are used in educational practice, indicating their positive aspects for building the meeting space. Forms of cooperation between teachers and parents also include the ones that rely on modern tools of information and communication technology. In this respect, special attention was paid to the use of Internet tools. On the basis of analysed literature on the subject, the significance of interaction was shown, along with the need of undertaking extensive activities in the area of improvement of relations between teachers and parents. The text of the article indicates factors that are conducive to an increase in the efficiency of the entire educational process and shows that they are beneficial for all of the entities taking part in it.
