This article attempts to expose the fiction in the area of home and school cooperation and to single out selected fictitious activities. This is accomplished based on the analysis of educational documents that create the official pedagogical discourse as well as on the analysis of documents (statutes, regulations) from randomly selected primary and secondary schools. This leads to elaborating seven selected myths of how the modern education system functions, which support the false impression that it is allegedly possible, under the current legal frame¬work, to manage effective cooperation of between the school and the children’s home. The aim of the article is to contribute to the reflection on the deeper mechanisms of these particular kinds of "powerful fictions" in the modern education system.

Celem artykułu jest próba zdemaskowania fikcji i uwydatnienie wybranych działań pozornych w obszarze współpracy domu i szkoły. Na podstawie wyników analizy dokumentów oświatowych tworzących urzędowy dyskurs pedagogiczny i analizy dokumentów (statutów, regulaminów) losowo wytypowanych szkół podstawowych i ponadpodstawowych podaję przykłady siedmiu mitów funkcjonujących we współczesnym systemie oświaty, podtrzymujących fałszywe mniemanie, jakoby możliwa była w aktualnych ramach prawnych rzeczywista współpraca szkoły i domu. Artykuł ma się przyczynić do podjęcia refleksji nad głębszymi mechanizmami utrzymującymi te swoistą „władzę fikcji” we współczesnym systemie oświatowym.
