W Europie po raz pierwszy zastosowano controlling w dużych firmach niemieckich w latach 50-tych XX wieku. Od kilkunastu lat prowadzi się badania i poszukuje się możliwości zastosowania controlingu w sektorze małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw, których liczbę w Niemczech szacuje się na przeszlo3,6 mln i które stanowią 99,7% ogółu podmiotów gospodarczych. W artykule zaprezentowano opracowanie koncepcji controllingu dla prywatnego przedsiębiorstwa branży tekstylnej oraz wdrożenie wybranych narzędzi controllingu w firmie „Danilo Wiehler”.

In Europe, the first time controlling had been used in large German companies in the 50-ies of XX century. For several years, scientists have conducted research and sought the applicability of controlling in the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises. The number of them is estimated for over 3, 6 million. They represent 99.7% of all entit ies in Germany. The article presents the development of a concept for a private company controlling in the textile industry and the implementation of the selected controlling tools in the company "Danilo Wiehler".

Cel: Celem artykułu jest podsumowanie trzydziestolecia badań nad controllingiem we wro-cławskim ośrodku akademickim. Metodyka/podejście badawcze: W artykule dokonano analizy publikacji z zakresu con-trollingu, autorstwa wrocławskich naukowców. W badaniu zastosowano analizę zawartości i analizę treści publikacji. Opracowania przenalizowano według czasu, typu publikacji, a także problematyki. Wyniki: Łącznie zidentyfikowano 449 prac poświęconych controllingowi. Wyodrębniono sześć podstawowych obszarów badawczych. Należą do nich: ogólne zagadnienia controllingu, instrumenty controllingu, controlling obszarowy, informacyjne wspomaganie controllingu, organizacja controllingu oraz „miękkie” aspekty controllingu. W artykule zidentyfikowano także obszary badań nad controllingiem, charakteryzujące się wysokim potencjałem ba-dawczym. Zaliczano do nich: „miękkie” aspekty controllingu, relacje między controllingiem a społeczną odpowiedzialnością biznesu, controlling branż, w których wcześniej go nie stosowa-no, informacyjne aspekty controllingu w kontekście nadmiaru informacji, wykorzystanie współczesnych osiągnieć innych nauk (np. neuronauki) w badaniach nad controllingiem. Oryginalność/wartość: artykuł zawiera pierwszą pogłębioną i całościową analizę publi-kacji naukowców ośrodka wrocławskiego z zakresu controllingu.

Purpose: The paper's goal is to summarize thirty years of controlling research in the Wroclaw academic community. Methodology/approach: In the paper, content analysis and textual analysis of control-ling-related publications of researchers from Wroclaw are performed. The publications are analyzed in the dimensions of time, publication type, and scope. Findings: The study identifies four hundred and forty-nine publications on controlling. It recognizes six main research areas: general controlling problems, controlling tools, domain-specific controlling, informational support of controlling, controlling organization, and “soft” aspects. In the paper, the research areas with large research potential are identified: “soft” aspects of controlling, relations between controlling and corporate social responsibility, con-trolling in branches where it has not been applied before, information-related issues of con-trolling in the content of abundance of information, and using discoveries of modern scienc-es, such as neuroscience, in controlling research. Value: the paper contains the first in-depth and holistic analysis of publications of Wroclaw researchers concerning controlling.
