Key words are in Poland an unappreciated methodological tool. Polish editors have required key words to be given in scientific papers since the end of the 20th century. Key words have been used by the journal “Onomastica” since 2002 (vol. XLVIII). The present paper discusses preliminary research that aims at describing the quantity, content, and structure of key words given in the papers published in “Onomastica” issues from the years 2002–2016. The author analysed 211 papers containing 979 key words in Polish. 681 key words are formally unique units. Most of the 681 key words are individual terms (coined by the authors of the papers) or proper names. Only 17 percent of keywords occurred in more than one article. The analysed set of key words contains many general scientific terms as well as many linguistic and onomastic terms. Among the latter, a low presence of fixed terminology is to be noticed. This paper points out formal and functional inadequacies of key words present in the analysed set, though an improvement is to be seen in the recent years.

W artykule „Białoruska konceptologia: na etapie samookreślenia” autor referuje dokonania białoruskiego językoznawstwa kognitywnego na polu konceptologii. Opis stanu badań współczesnej konceptologii białoruskiej został pomyślany jako sporządzona według różnych kluczy lista pojęciowych makro- i mikrojednostek używanych poprzez poszczególnych badaczy. Pozwoliło to na wskazanie najważniejszych prac białoruskich badaczy oraz zdefiniowanie najbardziej rozpowszechnionych mikrojednostek (pojęcie, słowo kluczowe, deskryptor itp.). Autor przeprowadził też analizę porównawczą prac białoruskich, rosyjskich i ukraińskich konceptologów, przedstawił główne tematy dyskusji, dokonał typologii pojęć, zarysował perspektywy i trendy dalszego rozwoju białoruskiej konceptologii.

The article analyzes the state of Belarusian cognitive linguistics; it attempts to define the place of conceptology in this context. The author describes the contemporary state of Belarusian conceptology: listed are the names of Belarusian cognitivists, as well as cognitive macro- and microunits used by individual scholars. The most widely used microunits are also defined (concept, keyword, descriptor, rubric, etc.). The subject matter, typology and composition of concepts described in the works of Belarusian cognitivists are investigated. The article offers a comparative analysis of the achievements of the Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian conceptologists. Prospects and trends of further development of Belarusian conceptology are identified and the key works in Belarusian conceptology are mentioned.

What is the main sense of the word Caritas? We try to answer with the method of the text analysis. We search the key worlds in the Gospel of Marc and in different documents of ecclesial norms (Encyclical Deus Caritas Est, Motu propio Intima Ecclesiae Natura). The end-result is: Caritas mean: activity and responsibility. In the second part of our article we give some advises how to realize this responsibility and activity. This activity can be realised only trough the cooperation of different levels the transactions, but the key his efectivness is the precise definition the goals of our activity.

Jaki jest główny sens słowa „caritas”? Na to pytanie autor stara się odpowiedzieć za pomocą metody analizy strukturalnej tekstu. Przeszukał i poddał analizie ilościowej kluczowe pojęcia z zakresu nauki o caritas w Ewangelii św. Marka i w innych dokumentach norm eklezjalnych. Końcowy wynik analiz wskazuje, iż pojęcie „caritas” oznacza przede wszystkim aktywność i odpowiedzialność. W dru-giej części tego artykułu zostały podane pewne wskazówki, jak zrealizować tę odpowiedzialność i działanie w zakresie działalności charytatywnej Kościoła.
