Program zrównoważonego rozwoju transportu jest zjawiskiem coraz częściej spotykanym w największych miastach w Polsce. Koszalin, pomimo utraty statusu miasta wojewódzkiego, w dalszym ciągu pełni ważne funkcje administracyjne i transportowe. Jako miasto powiatowe o liczbie ludności ponad 100 tys. mieszkańców znajduje się na skrzyżowaniu dwóch dróg krajowych oraz posiada węzeł kolejowy. Zmusza to władze samorządowe do szukania rozwiązań w transporcie pozwalających na zrównoważony rozwój regionu. Głównym celem pracy jest przedstawienie realizacji strategii rozwoju transportu w latach 2001 – 2010 wraz z potencjalnymi wariantami rozwoju na lata 2010 – 2015.

The program of sustainable transport is a more often common phenomenon in major cities in Poland. Koszalin, despite losing the status of capital of voivodeship still performs important administrative and transportation functions. As a district town with a population of over 100 thousand of residents is located at the crossroads of two national roads with a railway hub. This prompts local authorities to seek solutions for transport to develop sustainable development of the region. The main aim of this paperwork is an introduction of realisation strategy about transportation development in years 2001-2010 with potencial ways of development in years 2010-2015.

Jednym z podstawowych zagadnień logistyki miejskiej jest problem przemieszczania się strumieni ludzi. Komunikacja miejska powinna się odbywać wedle zasad zrównoważonego rozwoju, a to wymaga podejmowania kroków podnoszenia konkurencyjności alternatywnych środków transportu. Poznanie czynników, które decydują o wyborze środka transportu, jest ważnym elementem podczas projektowania procesów przewozowych w mieście. Celem artykułu jest próba przestawienia determinant mających największy wpływ na wybór środka transportu.

The one of the main issues of urban logistics is the problem moving the flow of people. The public transportation should be carried out according to the principles of sustainable development, which requires taking steps increase the competitiveness of alternative means of transport. Understanding the factors that influence the choice of measures-a transport is an important element in the design of transport processes in the city. The aim of this paper is to present the determinants that have the greatest influence on the choice of transport.

Combustion of liquid fuels including diesel fuels is one of the major processes influencing the condition of the environment. Requirements for the quality of diesel fuels are related to the development of the construction of fuel feed systems, combustion and exhaust gas systems, and also with growing expectations from environmental protection. In the article are shown basic connections between standards of diesel fuels used in urban traffic described by proper norms and exploitation overworks and environmental expectations. Developmental tendencies of the quality of those fuels are also mentioned.

The author of the study attempts to determine whether the quality improvement in these organizations due to the use of proven systems or the result of search their own solutions, and perhaps one and the other? The purpose of this article is to demonstrate differences in prices tickets of communication in cities of West Pomeranian Province in terms of competitiveness. Authors provide in the article a working thesis that prices of public transport tickets inversely depend on a size of city. This thesis turned out to be not quite true, because a clear relationship between a population of city, its area and ticket prices can be seen only in the case of monthly tickets. In conclusion of the article authors emphasize that Szczecin has the most diverse ticket pricing structure, and this fact can be an asset that creates competitiveness of the city. The study highlighted that the advantage of Szczecin has been built by other elements also, not only prices of communication tickets, so further research should embrace comparisons between cities with similar conditions and potential.

Przedmiotem rozważań poniższego opracowania jest zrównoważony rozwój transportu publicznego. Przeanalizowano poziom dostosowania transportu zbiorowego do potrzeb społecznych z uwzględnieniem opinii mieszkańców Częstochowy wyrażonej w badaniu ankietowym.

Transport is an important aspect of the modern world, in which mobility and the possibility of efficient and rapid movement have become an indispensable element of life. The concept of sustainable development is also important, the application of which limits the negative impact of transport on the environment. The subject of consideration of the following study is the sustainable development of public transport. The level of adjustment of public transport to social needs was analyzed, taking into account opinions of the inhabitants of Częstochowa expressed in the survey.

The quality of living in a city depends, to a large extent, on the transportation pro vided, road movement management and transport policies adopted. Over the last thirty years, the use of public transportation in Poland has decreased significantly. In 1990, the number of persons transported by municipal means of transport stood at 7,264,100,000, while in 2018 – at only 3,774,100,000, which makes a decrease by 48 percent. Simultaneously, since 1990 the number of registered cars has increased by more than four times, i.e. from 5.3 million to 23.4 million. As a result, municipal roads are overloaded. Together with an increase of private cars, traffic jams have been growing, too. Time of driving has also been increasing, as well as noise and emission of exhaust fumes pollution. Planning of sustainable development of public transport has become a significant element of future cities designing, calling for considering the identified needs of their inhabitants, with an optimal use and development of the in frastructure, and provision of necessary resources. In order to meet these challenges, not only responsible development of transport policy is required, but its consistent and effective implementation as well. That is why this area was subject to an audit carried out in the cities of the Dolnośląskie Region.

Od 1990 r. liczba zarejestrowanych pojazdów samochodowych w Polsce zwiększyła się ponadczterokrotnie, tj. z 5,3 mln do 23,4 mln, co spowodowało znaczny spadek przewozów komunikacją miejską. W efekcie sieć drogowa w miastach jest przeciążona. Zatory uliczne, wydłużający się czas dojazdów, a także hałas i zwiększona emisja spalin są tam stałym zjawiskiem. Planowanie zrównoważonego rozwoju transportu publicznego staje się istotnym elementem projektowania przyszłości miast. Sprostanie temu wyzwaniu wymaga nie tylko odpowiedzialnego tworzenia polityki transportowej, ale również konsekwentnego i efektywnego jej wdrażania. Zagadnienie to stało się przedmiotem kontroli NIK. Jej wyniki wykazały, że działania podejmowane we Wrocławiu były niewystarczająco skuteczne do osiągnięcia zamierzonych celów, a ich efekty w Jeleniej Górze i Wałbrzychu nierzetelnie monitorowane. Znaczące różnice wystąpiły też w organizacji i sposobie finansowania komunikacji miejskiej w różnych miastach.

The article presents the impact of passenger information on transport decisions of residents and transport policy of cities. In addition, the author points out the place of passenger information in the concept of sustainable transport and the economy of sustainable development. Then, he describes the changes that took place in passenger information in Łódź. Among the elements of this system are: communication schemes, passenger information boards, voice announcements or mobile applications. Finally, the author presents the results of the MPK-Łódź survey on changes in passenger information in Łódź.

W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono wpływ informacji pasażerskiej na decyzje transportowe mieszkańców oraz politykę transportową miast. Ponadto autor wskazał rolę informacji pasażerskiej w koncepcji transportu zrównoważonego, a tym samym w ekonomii zrównoważonego rozwoju. Następnie opisał zmiany, jakie wprowadzono w systemie informacji pasażerskiej w Łodzi, podając za przykład postępy w zakresie m.in. schematów komunikacyjnych, tablic informacji pasażerskiej, zapowiedzi głosowych czy aplikacji mobilnych. Na koniec autor zaprezentował wyniki badań MPK-Łódź Sp. z o.o. na temat wprowadzonych zmian w systemie informacji pasażerskiej w Łodzi.
