The aim of the article is to present the issue of parish books and registers in the Code of Canon Law and in the regulations of Episcopal Conferences. The first part presents the norms of the 1983 Code of Canon Law on parish books and registers. The second part presents the issue of keeping and storing the book of confirmation, while the third part is devoted to the regulations of Episcopal Conferences on parish books and registers. The article ends with a summary and bibliography.

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie zagadnienia ksiąg i rejestrów parafialnych w Kodeksie prawa kanonicznego i w przepisach konferencji episkopatów. W jego pierwszej części przedstawiono normy Kodeksu prawa kanonicznego z 1983 r. o księgach i rejestrach parafialnych. W drugiej części ukazano kwestię prowadzenia i przechowywania księgi bierzmowania, natomiast część trzecia została poświęcona przepisom konferencji episkopatów w sprawie ksiąg i rejestrów parafialnych. Całość artykułu zamykają podsumowanie i bibliografia.

The aim of the article is to discuss the Bishop’s Conference’s publication of new standards concerning the issues of marriage, which complementthe Code of Canon Law. The first part of the article focuses on the legislative power of the Episcopal Conference. The second part concerns the problem of the legislative competences of the Episcopal Conference concerning the issues of marriage as included in the Code of Canon Law of 1983. The third and the fourth parts reveal the obligatory and optional legislative competences of the Episcopal Conference in the sphere of marriage as presented in the CCL. The article ends with conclusions and bibliography.

The purpose of the article is to present issues related to the Conference of Episcopates concerning laymen as candidates for the ministries of lector and acolyte. The first part introduces the ministries of lector and acolyte in the Code of Canon Law of 1983. The second part contains complementary norms, selected Conferences of Episcopates according to the age and attributes of candidates for the ministries of lector and acolyte, while the third part is devoted to other provisions of the conference regarding the candidates. The article ends with conclusions and references.

W jego pierwszej części przedstawiono posługę lektora i akolity w Kodeksie prawa kanonicznego z 1983 r. W drugiej ukazano normy komplementarne wybranych konferencji episkopatów odnośnie do wieku i przymiotów kandydatów do posługi lektoratu i akolitatu, natomiast część trzecia została poświęcona innym przepisom konferencji w kwestii kandydatów do posługi lektora i akolity.

The purpose of the article is to present the issue of a promise of marriage, i.e. a legal aspect of betrothal in the light of applicable law. The first part of the article depicts betrothal as the inauguration of engagement. The second part portrays the issue of betrothal in the Code of Canon Law. The third part displays the relevant regulations of the institution of betrothal in selected norms of particular law. The article ends with conclusions and references.

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie zagadnienia przyrzeczenia zawarcia małżeństwa, czyli zaręczyn w aspekcie prawnym w świetle obowiązujących przepisów. W jego pierwszej części przedstawiono kwestię zaręczyn jako inauguracji narzeczeństwa. W drugiej części ukazano problematykę zaręczyn w Kodeksie Prawa Kanonicznego. Część trzecia ukazuje regulację instytucji zaręczyn w wybranych normach prawa partykularnego. Całość artykułu kończą podsumowanie i bibliografia.
