Artykuł analizuje podejście obiektywistyczne Mertona oraz konstrucjonistyczne Spectora i Kitsusego w kontekście badania wykorzystywania seksualnego dzieci w Polsce jako problemu społecznego. Na podstawie tej analizy rekomendowane jest korzystanie przede wszystkim z podejścia konstrukcjonistycznego w nurcie umiarkowanym.

The article analyzes the objectivist approach of Merton and the constructionist approach of Spector and Kitsuse in the context of the study of sexual abuse of children in Poland as a social problem. Based on this analysis, it is recommended to use primarily a modernist constructional approach.
