O niektórych aspektach społecznych polskiej edukacji domowej

W artykule porównano dwie formy edukacji: domową i szkolną, ukazując różnice i podobieństwa pomiędzy nimi. Ponadto zdefiniowano pojęcie „edukacja domowa” oraz przeanalizowano jej podstawy prawne. W Polsce nauczanie domowe reguluje Prawo oświatowe. Dyrektor szkoły na wniosek rodziców podejmuje decyzję o nauczaniu domowym dziecka. Powody, dla których rodzice decydują się na edukację domową, są rozmaite, na co zwrócono uwagę w niniejszym artykule. W badaniach wykorzystano metodę porównawczą, instytucjonalno-prawną oraz opisowo-analityczną.

This paper compares two forms of education: at home and at school, indicating the differences and similarities between them. Moreover, the concept of home education is defined and its legal basis are analysed. In Poland, homeschooling is regulated by the Educational Law. At the request of the parents, the school headmaster grants them permission to teach their child at home. The reasons why parents opt for home- -based education are diverse, as it has been pointed out in this paper. The comparative, institutional and legal methods have been used to conduct the research.
