This article discusses the functioning of small and medium-sized enterprises on the market during the pandemic and post-pandemic in the context of the catering industry. The considerations focus on identifying the impact of the negative consequences of the crisis on the condition and development of the entire industry and the assistance offered by the state at that time. The phenomenon was analyzed using a survey and interpretation of secondary data.

Niniejszy artykuł porusza tematykę funkcjonowania małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw na rynku w czasie pandemii oraz postpandemii w kontekście branży gastronomicznej. Rozważania koncertują się wokół identyfikacji wpływu negatywnych następstw kryzysu na stan i rozwój całej branży, a także pomocy oferowanej w tym czasie przez państwo. Analizy zjawiska dokonano za pomocą przeprowadzonego badania ankietowego i interpretacji danych wtórnych.

This article is dedicated to identifying the impact of a pandemic on the overall run of enterprises. Authors present the economic effects of the pandemic and the package of measures offered to entrepreneurs by the Polish government, and most of all attempted to analyze the effects of the pandemic to enterprises operating in the Sądecki subregion. For this purpose, surveys were conducted among entrepreneurs in the Sądecki subregion, and the obtained results allowed to conclude that the vast majority of respondents felt the negative impact of the pandemic on their business, which was presented in detail in the empirical part of this study.

Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony został rozpoznaniu wpływu pandemii na funkcjonowanie przedsiębiorstw. Autorki przedstawiły skutki gospodarcze pandemii i pakiet działań oferowanych przedsiębiorcom przez polski rząd, a głównie podjęły próbę analizy skutków pandemii wśród przedsiębiorstw działających w subregionie sądeckim. W tym celu przeprowadzono badania ankietowe wśród przedsiębiorców na terenie subregionu sadeckiego, a otrzymane wyniki pozwoliły wnioskować, że zdecydowana większość badanych odczuła negatywny wpływ pandemii na prowadzoną działalność, co zostało szczegółowo zaprezentowane w części empirycznej niniejszego opracowania.
