Tekst zawiera diagnozę sytuacji Romów, ich problemów i potrzeb, a także dotychczas realizowanych zadań na rzecz społeczności romskiej we Wrocławiu. Autor przedstawia również cele projektowanego programu lokalnego. Na podstawie tej diagnozy formułuje konkretne propozycje działań mogących doprowadzić do integracji i zmian w sferze edukacyjnej. Przyjęta przez autora procedura badawcza to uczestniczące badania interwencyjne. Umożliwiają one przekształcanie rzeczywistości społecznej i stosowanie w praktyce wyników badań. Wydaje się istotne, aby wskazać na podjętą problematykę i ewentualną potrzebę projektowania tego typu programów lokalnych przy udziale różnych aktorów społecznych.

The study comprises a diagnosis of the situation of the Romani, their problems and needs, as well as the tasks implemented so far for the Romani community in Wrocław. What the author also presents are the goals of the planned local programme. On the basis of this diagnosis, precise suggestions are formulated of activities aiming at integration and changes in the educational sphere. The applied research procedure is participatory action research. It enables transformation of the social reality and practical application of research results. It seems important to point at the undertaken issues and the need for designing such local programmes with the participation of various local agents.
